Resista® elms are protected under E.U. breeders rights (E.U. council decision 2100/94). For all of Europe the young plants are produced in Darmstadt/Germany and given to selected nurseries for tree production. Since 2003 every young plant is secured by an electronic chip. Thus every Resista® elm is identifiable at any stage. This means security as to variety, resistance and quality. The selected Resista® nurseries have agreed to high standards for raising the trees.
