pruning |

It is important to prune the trees before planting. Normally a more rigorous pruning is better than no pruning. It makes a difference wether the trees are delivered bare-rooted, rootballed or in a container. pictures 1-3 show one of nine trees of the variety 'New Horizon' which were planted in spring 2003 with a girth of 16-18 cm and which were pruned very rigorously. |
